Private property
Most alarms are false. Departments know it, and in a growing number of jurisdictions they won't respond without verification.
SafeShield turns an unverified alarm into a verified one. When something triggers, an aircraft goes and looks, and a person on your team sees what's actually happening before deciding whether to call anyone.
SafeShield never calls police on a property event without a human deciding to.
Trespass, theft, a vehicle where it shouldn't be — those alerts go to your designated person, and the decision is theirs. Automated dispatch on unverified alarms is exactly what damaged the alarm industry's standing with law enforcement, and we're not repeating it.
The single exception is life safety. A weapon, an assault, an active threat — those notify emergency services immediately, without waiting.
The flight is autonomous. The decision that follows it is not. No agency is watching your site by default — the video goes to the person you name, and what happens next is theirs to choose.

Operations
Once a trigger fires, the aircraft launches, flies to a commissioned position and returns without anyone flying it. On private sites that flight is under the operating authority of a BVLOS operator contracted to SafeShield, who can take control at any point. If you already hold your own authority, you can operate under it.
Ground systems
Some sites are better served on the ground than in the air. Flat, paved, contained properties are good candidates for ground platforms, and we're developing that option for private sites. We don't offer it for schools — the terrain and the environment aren't right for it.
